Desktop Power Consumption Over Laptop

A friend of mine had her desktop useless for a month now. What is left is the laptop that overheats after being in use for long time. It is not really meant for long use. The desktop is. What she does now is have an extra keyboard for easier typing, tilt the laptop bottom by putting something underneath so that the electric fan can focus on it. The laptop fan did not last long. The system still shut down despite the laptop fan that is why she now uses the desktop fan. When watching a movie, she connects the monitor to the laptop and change the setting so the movie can be watched on a wider screen. Instead of the laptop speakers, the sound system is also connected. Result? Much lower power consumption. She saved roughly P700!

Fixing Furniture

My friend was in rage when I arrived at her home. It seems like one of her furniture is broken. I believe the screws were just loosen by her youngest son, who seems to think that the whole house and all the furniture in it is a part of a big playground. I told her to stay calm and everything is going to be fixed. I added that she just needs to have the right screw, like a shoulder screws, for that case. But she insisted that before she have her things fixed, she has to talk to her son first.

Get Well Soon, Dear Friend

I almost lost my balance when I heard the sad news. My friend’s husband just met a car accident. When he was on his way home, another car bumped into him causing him to be flown out of the car. Our common friends said the damage was bad. He could no longer walk and is need of back surgery laser. From the sound of it, I am guessing it must be pretty serious. I hope he gets through with it. I will visit him as soon as I end all my tasks here today. We are all here for him. And we will pray for his fast recovery.

One of the Best Things in Life are Achieved Through the Internet

During my friend’s birthday party, they surprised her by making sure that she gets to talk to her daughter who is on the other side of the world and whom she has not talked for about five years due to personal reasons. Through web video conferencing, they were able to talk and tears started to fall from both of them. They let bygones be bygones and made sure that from then on, they will no longer ignore each other and will make up for the time they had lost. All of us who were watching them were in tears as well. It was definitely the best gift my friend ever received.

Getting A Job

Posted by LovelyPink | 2012 MOI | Thursday 15 March 2012 11:35 pm

“If a man does not work, neither will he eat.” That is principle of living. You just cannot bum around when you can do something to earn a living so that you can buy food for yourself and your family. You can also buy clothing and rent a roof over your heads. If your earning is good enough then maybe you can afford to buy your own house. Having your own job, no matter how small it may seem, gives you some pride that at least you are working for what you deserve to earn even if it is just one of those wendys jobs. Even a crew member can work his way to a manager!
