…I hope so!

Our big screen TV we have downstairs is about 11 years old. I cannot believe that TV is that old. It is a wonderful TV, but with time, it has been becoming older and older. With it being older, it comes with a lot of problems. The picture isn’t as great as it used to be.

My HB has been thinking of buying a vizio tvs. I found one same size 65inch at reasonable price. The TV itself is actually really cool and the picture is just awesome. I almost called HB to get a permission to purchase the TV. But I changed my mind because he mentioned awhile ago that he is going to buy a new one. I’m just so inpatient so, I need to keep reminding him. I hope he goes through with the purchase.

In light of what happened in Japan and how its effect rippled around the world, I’m now thinking on what or how I should prepare in case something like that happens here. I’m not hoping for it to happen but being prepared is always good.

Aside from packing up emergency and personal kits, I am looking at emergency medical assistance services. I mean they don’t just come in handy when there’s a catastrophe, they can also provide support when one is hurt while travelling, take charge of who will care for children or pets when you’re taken by an ambulance or something or even for evacuation service. With this kind of service I know there’s someone who can help out when in crisis.

Thank God waking up with inches and inches of snow is over. Maybe for next year, I will even consider investing on heating heated mattress pads for us. Snow has been the worst for us this year and though I’m hoping it will be better next year, we don’t really know what will happen.

For now I am just so excited that spring is almost here, just a couple more days. Personally I love spring. I love the warm spring colors I see everywhere. Another thing I love when spring is near is fashion. Now I can’t wait to check out some of my favorite sites to check what’s in this season.

Since we’ve made some changes in the house to remodel it a bit, I also thought it may be time to get some new slipcovers. I don’t think we actually need to buy a new sofa. What we have right now still works fine. I can just have it cleaned and the use a new slipcover.

Another thought just occurred to me. Maybe I can also get some matching slipcovers for our chairs. Not only will it look good, it will also protect my chairs from stains and other dirt. I can’t wait to tell my husband and ask his opinion on colors and patterns. I’m so excited!

My family absolutely loves barbeque so I went online to find a new recipe we can try. One of the searches that turned up was North Carolina’s pork barbecue. The article even said that North Carolina has its own style and that the recipe used for their barbecue was something that is passed down from generation to generation.

This made me so interested about North Carolina. Aside from their barbecue, maybe one day we can check out some Outer Banks vacation rentals and visit The Crystal Coast and Mount Airy. We can also visit the birthplace of Pepsi Cola and Krispy Kreme, the Appalachian Trail and the Great Smoky Mountains.
